DOOM Eternal - Urdak Exterior Environments

During production I was given the challenge and the honor to design the look of heaven for the DOOM universe. The final look that we landed on was influenced by Renaissance Christian architecture and iconography fused biomechanical art of H.R Giger. The look of the terrain was influenced by layered textures that come about from 3d printing, indicating that the Maykrs would “3d-print” their environments. The environment artists and sound designers did an amazing job in bringing this eerie location to life in the game.
